1. Who you are agreeing with
Eng AI at interview.engineer is operated by [YOUR FULL NAME], an individual based in the United States. Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
2. Who may use Eng AI
You must be at least 16 years old. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and your email address current — account notices go there. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has access to it.
One person, one account. Do not share an account or hand your credentials to anyone else.
4. What you can and cannot do
Eng AI is for personal interview and exam preparation. That includes practising questions, submitting your own work for feedback, and matching your practice to a job you are pursuing.
Do not:
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the question bank
- republish or resell questions, solutions, or feedback
- submit work that is not yours and present it as yours
- upload anything unlawful, malicious, or that infringes someone else's rights
- upload other people's personal information beyond what is unavoidably part of a job posting you are matching against
- attempt to break, overload, or circumvent the limits on the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us
- use the service to build a competing product, or to train a machine-learning model on our content
Daily limits apply to grading and job matching, because each one costs real money to run. Those limits may change.
5. Your work stays yours
You own what you submit — your answers, your photographs, your sketches, your notes. Nothing here transfers ownership.
You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your work, display it back to you, and send it to our AI provider to be graded. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your work to train AI models, and we do not publish it.
6. Our content
The questions, solutions, explanations, and the site itself belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own preparation. You may not redistribute them.
Company names and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the kinds of roles the questions are drawn from. Their appearance is not a claim of endorsement, affiliation, or partnership.
7. Grading is automated, and imperfect
Feedback and scores are generated by AI. They are frequently approximately right and sometimes plainly wrong. Treat them as a study aid and check against the worked solution.
Nothing on Eng AI is professional engineering advice, and nothing here is a credential, certification, or assessment you can rely on for anything beyond your own practice. We do not guarantee that using the site improves your interview or exam results.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided as it is, when it is available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, including the free daily limits, at any time. We will avoid doing that destructively where we reasonably can.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, is used to abuse the service, or creates legal risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
10. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content or grade is accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, as the service is free, is ordinarily zero — or fifty US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages, and costs arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or content you submitted that infringes someone else's rights.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located there, and both of us consent to that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes will be notified to account holders by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
